Superior Performance:
Magnum™ Series 616 awnings are a popular window choice, providing superior weathering and sound insulation. They push out from the bottom and give ventilation with a measure of rain protection. The robust frame and sash suits most wind load areas including multi-storey buildings and cyclonic areas.
Flyscreens:
The sill design allows for easy installation of flyscreens without expensive and unsightly trims.
Casement Option:
Casement windows are side opening to catch the breeze and direct air inwards. These are a stylish option and suit traditional or contemporary house designs. Magnum™ casments are fitted with heavy duty friction stays and wedgeless cam handles or winders.
Double Glazing:
Sashes and accompanying fixed sidelights can be fitted with hermetically sealed insulating glass panels (up to 25mm thick) for improved thermal transmission.
Sound Reduction:
Awning and casement sashes will give the best results in sound reduction. Magnum™ windows have been tested at the National Acoustics Laboratory.
Condensation Drainage:
Magnum™ awning window fixed lights (102x39mm frame) can be fitted with optional patented condensation drainage valves that allow drainage while preventing water intrusion. If you are building in a cold climate location this can be a desirable feature.
Compatibility:
Magnum™ awning and casement windows have been designed to match Vantage Magnum™ double-hung windows, ClearVENT™ sashless double-hung windows and Magnum™ sliding windows.
